Ah I think you guys are misinterpreting what I said. As in, I'm going to give those guys shit about it because it's funny to me that he keeps getting these sig guitars and spec'ing them exactly opposite of their original specs. Man I just wish they'd make a Jim Root sig electric mandolin.

I already have 2 bass VIs which are similar except by being 6 string...this is a thick sounding instrument (notice the tuning and string gauges)... What level of adjustments can be made by adjusting the poles...subtle changes or a serious range?

In my experience as an engineer I'd be careful about clashing your notes with the bass otherwise your mix will be mush in the bottom end.

Yes its been done my many before for those that use separate cabinets. The custom 2x12 I referred to per Earcandy could run without a crossover and neither speaker would get damaged so long as I used an appropriate wattage head with the right impedance.
