I actually prefer your snare, but it could do with a few cuts in the low-mid range to alleviate some of that mud and give it extra clarity in the mix. Your guitar tone is nice, give it some more presence though so it punches through more. Otherwise a decent mix :yesway:

It just sounds more vibrant and resonates with you more. You should definitely look it up on Google if you don't already know about it!

Cheers guys! Larcher, it might be the YouTube compression. I'm using 432Hz in this clip so it could be that you're not used to the way it sounds in comparison to standard 440Hz.

Good mix, sounds nice and punchy. I would just EQ out some of the "boxiness" from the snare and maybe add a touch more reverb to it. Nice job otherwise though.

Quad-track or double-track the same part, one in an octave higher and pan them accordingly (ie, lower octave panned to the left and higher to the right 100%). Send the tracks to an FX channel and process it with a long reverb-tail and blend to taste. Experiment with EQ & compression, add delay...

Nice mix, it just needs some more punch from the bass. The drums sound good, but I would lower the cymbals/hats a touch and slap on a low-pass filter/cut out some of the higher frequencies. The ambience could do with some EQ cuts anywhere between 2-6k to take out the harshness. Volume-wise...
