Mesa 2X12 Recto cab is a great cab. I used to have one and sold it for some stupid reason. Now I have the Vadar 2X12 which is also killer. Any decent cab with V30's will do just fine with that head. I also like the Eminence Legends that are in the Vadar with the 5150. They are rated at 120 watts...

I see them all the time anywhere between $500 - $650 depending on condition. Unfortunately with the economy it's pretty much a buyer's market right now. I paid $600 for mine and it's mint as hell. Didn't come with a footswitch though. Why ya selling it?

Yeah man I've seen that clip before. Def sounds pretty killer running both heads. I'm sure it sounds 10X better in person too. Funny those heads dwarf those old Jaguar cabs LOL!

Ok I see exactly what you mean now by listening to that. Def sounds like maybe 2 different guitar tones doubled. Did you search what gear they play?

Shit man from the sounds of it you'd jive really good with a high gain solid state rig like the Randall Warhead, X2, Ampeg VH140C, Marshall 8100, etc. They have that tight, razor sharp, dry, machine-like tone. Buy one of them, throw a Sonic Maximizer in the effects loop, and boost the front end...

Sounds like it should end up looking pretty cool. I took that wood piece out behind the front grill on mine and it looks way better IMO. I'd love to rip off all the tolex and then paint it with bedliner to match my Vadar....now that would be fucking cool! :shred:

Yeah they still have them around with the Beast headstock. The newer ones have the backwards inline 6 headstock. Here's a pic of mine and the bridge is OFR not a Ping.
