Can I replace a LFR lopro with a Gotoh?

Okay, that's very helpful... but I intend on using the studs that are already fittted in my guitar, if possible. it's a neck through model so shimming the neck is out of the quesion. I emailed ESP earlier today, I'm awaiting a reply from them. I do own a Jackson KVx10 with a licenced standard...

Can I replace a LFR lopro with a Gotoh?

Thanks. I measured it, but I need to find where I wrote it down. It has about 6mm from the back of the lo pro floyd to the rear edge of the rout. I have no intension of doing pullups, so would it be a problem? Am I right in thinking the longer string lock bolts petruding from the back of the...

Can I replace a LFR lopro with a Gotoh?

I have an LTD Mh400, and I think I need to replace the trem, it won't stay in tune as well as I'd like and I've had issues with the cheap metal on the saddles forcing the strings to slip and grooves to form (part user error aswell, over tightennig the studs) I'm wanting to replace the lo...

    Difference between block-letter 5150 and 6505?

It's a different amp. It's built by Fender under the EVH brand. It's not as raw or as Brutal as the Peaveys but it can go brutal. :) It's also got a fender clean and three channels. It's also more expensive. Go speak to DrakkerTyranis about Block Letter/Script heads.. he'll set you straight. :D

    V3, 6262, 6505+, or...?

Not having a master volume for the 6505+ is a good thing dude. :) The two channels are completely seperate, and so are the volumes, there's no real need for a master voume on that kinda amp. Pre-gain = preamp distortion. (Gain) Post-gain = power amp drive (Volume) You get one of each for...

Why should I get Peavy instead of EVH 5150?

I don't know much about amps but I own a 5150 II and I've played a 6505 and a 6505+ and a 5150 III The III does have better clean, and is more clean but doesn't have the smack in the face thing going on as much as the 6505/5150s do. Picture the 5150 I as the balls out rough, high gain...

My new 5150 II's not working, think it's a tube.

I don't know why my dad won't let me. I think he's just pissed off that I spent the money on something I'm not completely happy with and all. I emailed Watford Tubes to ask if I could send back the 5881s and get some 6l6GCs and slip in some cash for the price up. The next day I got some EH...

Haha. I think you're right dude but my dad won't alow it. Will 5881s work fine (SovTek) in place of 6l6GCs made by JJ?

    Sound fading...

I'm having the same problem with my 5150, It's just randomly fading after about 25 minutes of playing give or take, thought I fixed it but at band practice today it went. =/ I turned it off, on again and it worked. What a trooper. Anyway, everyone at Harmony Central says its preamp tube.. but...

Is it possible to make my amps tone simaler to framus cobra

Probably not for a few reasons, it's basicly a completely different amp. You won't be able to make it sound like a Cobra but you could probably get a pretty decent metal tone that's 'like' a Cobra, if that makes sense? Cobra's are also proffesional grade high end amps. Well, two things to be...

My new 5150 II's not working, think it's a tube.

Hey, a few days ago I got my 5150 II, day before yesterday (it was working perfectly before) about 20 minutes into my playing the volume gradually faded and then went down to alomst nothing (like 95% volume loss), I turned it off, then came back a day later to see what I could see from looking...

    5150 Tone Advice..

Are you using Slinkies? (Guessed cause of the gauge.) I used STHB's for a while, then moved to DRs, noticable difference in tone for me. Sounds nitpicky but some string brands are better for metal chugging than others, GHS are also good. You might also want to consider moving to a higher gauge...
