Just play, it doesn't really matter what. You need to get back the feel for the instrument and it'll take a few days, perhaps weeks due to being away for a year. It helps to throw in some technique and timing exercises to supplement. But as long as you're playing something you'll get there.
Sweden has since a couple of days ago recognized the state of Palestine as well. Just adding some green in the smudge of white. Edit: My bad. Our new prime minister has announced that he will, but hasn't gone through with it yet.
I've been a Spotify user since it launched. There is such ridiculous amount of content on Spotify Premium, it has literally changed my life. I can see how people are bummed out that they made the free version next to useless, but to me the €10 a month is beyond my moneys worth. A few years...
I've got a PF-500, I like it a lot. It doesn't sound like a tube driven Ampeg but it sounds better than a lot of solid states in its range. My only complaint is that the fan is noisy, which seems to be some sort of factory error. Get the 500 or 800 if you're going for it. Having the extra high...
I've never tried one myself, but the stuff I've heard about them have been far from great. This one is pricier than most of their models, it might be better, might be worse.
You must either have straight or extremely thin/fragile frames. I've worn glasses for 12 years and never had this problem. Are you sure they're adjusted correctly? Other than that I can't really recommend anything else but new frames, unless there is some removable ear hook or similar.
What I would like to know is how well versed the Italian and Romansh speaking community is with German/French which is most spoken. I assume there is news and official papers in all 4 as they're all considered official. Edit: Apparently they do not offer official papers in Romansh.
I get this feeling that during training they practice reaching out for the pistol most of the time, not the taser (because not everyone's got one). You might as well equip every cop with a taser if you're going to give them all guns. My personal opinion of course. But what do I know, if...
Probably going to sound like a dick, but the timing isn't quite there. Especially 0:17 to 0:30. Practice a bit slower and make sure you really accent the beat (even though it's not accented in the solo it helps with improving timing). I have the same problem that I rush too much, it's important...
Completely destroyed my opponents in my first ever online poker game. Super small stakes but whatever, I've played poker like 3 times in my life so I'm excited
Basically what theemptycell said. I find Precision basses to be the best choice when emulating upright. There's a fretless Squier Precision on the market for cheap, I'm tempted at grabbing one to mess around with.
I'll list some of my favourites Motown/soul/r&b - Marvin Gaye Stevie Wonder Jackson 5 Gladys Knight & The Pips Pharrell Williams (GIRL album) Tower Of Power (there are like a million others) TLC - Waterfalls (the track) is a great example of phenomenal bass work. I don't really know many...
Just listen to anything Motown put out during the 60's and 70's. It changed the way I approach bass entirely. Hell, just listen to soul and r&b in general, you won't find tastier playing anywhere else. Soul and its subgenres heavily emphasizes improvisation, you said you have a hard time getting...
I had my first nightmare where I actually felt terror and felt like shit after waking up. Usually, if I have a nightmare, it's about something emotionally that has happened and it's easy for me to deal with. This crap however... Perhaps I'm just not hardened enough, I only have like 1 nightmare...
I get bored in 30 seconds by most things post bebop. The 341bpm sax shred doesn't really impress me. I do love swing though, especially Louis Armstrong. Usually I find pre-bop more interesting than post, big band is great as well. There are some modern artists I enjoy also, but I don't listen to...
