Was it 50 or 100 watts? Did you open it up to see what the output transformer and the tubes were?

Update: i just downloaded cubase 7 trial and surprise the distortion is not there. So it is definitely an FLStudio 8/9/10/11 issue. The whole thing sounds like the build in Limiter module is still active even after deactivating it. Any ideas?
