That's an okay offer, you should try and negotiate. I got my 8200 for £92 (that is £175 when I Xe.com-ed it) fairly it was on bid. If you want a mid full tone, you'd consider a boost. It doesn't do high mid settings well (the highest gain you can get without the contour being more than...
Yeah, I suppose your right. I've never seen one for sale in the UK so it'd get pounced on. Or maybe thats why we don't - because nobody over here wants one. Makes me wander. Sort of. I've tried out the GT3500H, the only copy version that ever really goes for sale in the Uk, before, fell in...
Not in my case. In my case, good guitars are quite easy to come across, whereas an amp with my tone, isn't. So far, "good" amplifiers (for my tone) are about 10 maximum (most being Crate's VH140c clones and my 8200), then guitars, about 20 or 30. So far. I'm sure more will jump on the list...
Hello, I have been saving up, for a short while. This is because I aim to buy a Gibson Explorer (because its among my favourite guitars, after the Ibanez VBT700 I found in perfect condition), however, an Ampeg Vh140c has cropped up, and I am now wandering - should I set myself back on the...
It looks amazing, say if it was a Gibson. But since it isn't, and its also probably made out of home grown rice, bits off a door and a couple pints of wet underwear extracted urine - no. Instead.... get an epiphone/ltd/Agile, but if colour is the reason - get it repainted?
I suppose it is annoying when they re-record it (with no real reason), unless it is Kreator - recording studio albums live and then dubbing it is such an epic idea!
Well, the leads are better. I like how in the first tone for the new one it had alot more clarity. But the one after I felt it sounded like a max gained clean channel.
Only problems have been mentioned above - but the big one is no audience awareness. You just kind of stand stiff, and its quite boring to watch. Fix that, and then I'll be able to see you touring the UK.... at some point after you recorded the songs.
Wow. That video is.... encouraging. To show the stupidity and ignorance of them. "Metal is too loud". No. Its called actually having music behind it. So you turn it up, so you get more bass, which makes it more enjoyable to "bang you heads on tables". And as fun as that sounds - no. They...
That sounds amazing :hbang:. Perhaps it could do with sounding a little more crunchy for my own tastes. I had always thought people and their opinion's of these amps were "no".
Unanped, the JH200 in black and digital camo... The digital camo one has a really thick finish. It sounds dampened, more absorbing the sound. Which is why I went with it. Because it looks great!
I love At The Gates, shame that they had finished their reunion tour by the time I found them out (I think I was about 4 or 5 months out...) I see Carcass's Heartwork got alot of mention in this thread, that is better than At The Gates stuff to my ears. My favourite At The Gates song...
