Hey guys, I've been playing a ton of John Petrucci stuff lately and have been wondering how to create his sound. I have a Line 6 Spider II amp and a Jackson Dinky with SD's in it. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and can guide me down the path of prog metal. :hbang:

Haha thanks guys!! I'm pretty sure I'm getting purple. Thought about it all day at school, didn't get anything done. But I did get my new guitar choice done!! If only they took a grade for that... But does anyone have pictures of their own purple agiles? Kinda would like to see them...Thanks!

So I've decided for sure that I'm buying an Agile Interceptor Pro. :shred: BUT, I have one problem. I don't know what color. I'm stuck between the purple, blue, orange burst, and satin finish. Would like some help. Maybe some pics of yours, thanks! :hbang:

Also speaking of fret boards. How do maple and ebony compare? I have a Jackson Dinky with a maple neck and love it, but I have no idea of ebony might perform.

Speaking of which, how are the pickups in the interceptor? I know Keith Merrow made them sound good, but what do you guys think of them?
