its gotta be a local company or brand or something because what popular guitar manufacturers start with J? That doesn't necessarily means its a bad guitar though. Brootal guitars from my area make some pretty good quality 7's.

Hmmm, the iPhone app Taptempo is free and has all of these features you want with a cap of 300bpm. Works well and more convenient than a computer program, but of course, only worth mentioning if you own an iPhone.

If your into V-shaped guitars and your looking for an ebony fretboard theres the BC Rich JR-V 7. I recommend this personally because I own it. Its my only 7 So i can't compare to other 7's but it beats all my 6's.

Haha well, I dont have a 6505, I've just got a 75W small modelling amp. But i guess the pickups arent THAT bad, the bridge isnt nearly hot enough though, so I will replace it sometime soon, hopefully. The rest of the guitar though: Prime!
