He is using Cubase in that tutorial and I would highly suggest you do the same. If you have EZdrummer you could make use of the new programming feature in EZdrummer 2 (after the free upgrade of course). I love studio one but it doesn't even touch cubase in terms of drum programming ease...

Does anyone know if you can use a pod hd pro patch on a pod hd500? i thought they were essentially the same thing but i hear you can not use the pro patch on a 500.

no not at all man, i mean i really really expected it to be larger than that but its just perfect for me. quick question...is there a fine line on yours that runs along the fretboard where it meets up with the neck?

Man the loomis i just got feels/sounds great but ive noticed one problem...there is a fine line that goes up both sides of the fret board (and sort of looks like the head stock as well..) I wasnt sure if this was normal or could screw me in the future so i showed the shop where i ordered it and...

dont mean to post more on this this thread but i just wanted to say i got my loomis and the neck is fucking amazing :) the c-7 i had must have been old or something because the loomis neck is WAY smaller side by side (sold it to my friend so it was easy to compare)

I played one at my local shop the other day and while i do agree that it is pretty comfy i just think it sounds muddy as hell....i would suggest the damien elite 8..boss guitar for a reasonable price or just follow the trend and get an agile. The way i look at this situation is play several 8's...

im sorry for the amount of noob questions but were the tracks all recorded separately or did you just duplicate two of the tracks then pan them like that

while i do like the sound of that album (a lot) i think the axe has a slight bit more clarity than the pod. i think im gonna try and pick up a used ultra thanks guys.

i have the same setup (powered by usb) minus the axe but that shouldnt matter at all because you are getting input. what daw are you using to track? also if you turn the mix knob all the way to the right then that should kill the sound coming through the monitors unless you are in a daw or...
