totally agree with you on this one! i'll be sitting at work just humming riffs through my head all day. on the way home i may jam to some music, or whatever, and by the time i pick up my guitar, riffs will literally just pour out of my fingers! i think it's just at mental as it is physical!

take a look at "Bareknuckle pickups" i've heard, and read some good stuff on 'em.

i would say the Shecter, hands down. It's a very smooth playing guitar.

PRS 7 SE would definitely solve my next 7 string dilemma! :agreed:

you'll love the eight! i experimented with Drop G tuning on my 7 and that's what made me want to go heavier! so i got myself a nice C8 Hellraiser :shred:

If you're willing to go the extra buck $$ ...go with the Shecter C8 Hellraiser. i own it and am 100% satisfied with it! from playability to tone, it's great! feelings like playing butter! hahah
