    Your favorite album opening song?

Michael Hedges - Aerial Boundries Soul Whirling Somewhere - Opening the Ten End The first three tracks on this record act like one bit opener in my book. Definitely one of my absolute favorites. Swans - New Mind Godflesh - Spite Triptykon - Goetia Ugh!

One band or artist never existed. How is the timeline altered?

No Venom, and a bunch of churches stay fire free...and the demand for black & white makeup sees an all time low.

    Gibson Takes Down Jericho Guitars

Well...I guess the Jericho fellow found out what happens when you "fuck a stranger in the ass!" At least Gibson didn't wreck his car. That said, those Jericho Edge & Ignitions always looked pretty neat.

    Your First Live Concert-

U2 on their Popmart Tour. June 19th, 1997 Oakland CA. This was night two of their Oakland stay. Oasis were the openers. Hell of a show. I'm extremely thankful that was my first real concert. Pop was their last good record. We were on the field. Don't know the fellow that filmed this but...

Ibanez ICTB721 Iceman: More Photos for Yawl

Man I hope these sell well and stay in production longer that the old IC507s from 2013. The world needs more Iceman 7s. Nicely done, sir.

    Ibanez 2021 models (Headless!)

:sigh: I miss my Iceman 507. I'm so happy to see Ibanez releasing another 7 string Iceman. I hope this stays in production longer than the last one. Those only went a year. At least Ibanez remembered that the Iceman shape doesn't have to have Paul Stanley's name on it. Oh, and to those that...

8.5/10 So this is what all of the affluent, Abercrombie & Fitch wearing, party time douche nozzles were listening to during the early aughts. I guess they had a point here since this was pretty damn good. I've always found 311 to be talented. I'm just a cynical prick that associates this with...

7.5/10 Prior to this I never gave Coheed and Cambria one bit of attention. I did a search on them while listening because I didn't even know what they looked like. That said, I enjoyed the riffs and overall tone very much. The singer, although very talented, has a style I'd be very...

7/10 I've always loved super clear/crisp high gain tones on guitars with low tunings. Been a fan of it since 'Digimortal'. I didn't think the vocals would consist of mainly clean tones...good ones at that. I figured they'd be like the dime-a-dozen screams usually paired with that kind of...

    NGD: Jericho Edge 8 NT

I see you got yourself The Gift of Jericho. Be sure to... Seriously though, that looks like a mighty fine 8 string. I've had my eye on these guys for a couple of months now and everything they do looks solid and classy. Congrats.

    Dissection fans thread!

Another big Dissection fan here. SotLB and The Somberlain played a big part in my early years of guitar playing. Its just recently that I finally have a grasp on some of those old songs. I'm still amazed that Jon was able to play flawlessly with those huge rings he wore on his fretting hand...

    Ibanez Iceman 7

When Ibanez still had these listed on their site they listed the neck to be 20mm at the first fret and 22mm at the twelfth fret.

    Ibanez Iceman 7

I've had mine for about a year and a half and I still love mine. The others are correct in that the Iceman doesn't have the same sales numbers as the RG & other shapes which is why this model didn't go past a year in production. I bought mine used so I'm more lenient with the few issues there...

    The Ibanez 7 Club!

I've had this for about a year and a half, so I think its high time I post in this thread to make it "official". I really wish Ibanez would make more of these.

    Favorite record label?

The one label I have the most respect for is Projekt Records. They specialize in darkwave/goth/shoegaze along with some new age/synth stuff (Steve Roach & Erik Wollo for example). Some of their notable artists from past & present include: Voltaire, Lycia (my favorite), Weep, Love Spirals...

    Powerball/ What would you do?

I'd do all of the cliche safe stuff all of the news outlets have been suggesting for years now (lawyer, accountant etc.). I'd do everything it takes to hide my face/identity, even with the law in most states requiring one's identity to be public. Oh sure you can get my real name, but a name...

    David Bowie has passed away

I was just listening to Ziggy Stardust last night. The world has lost a true artist. All of the legends are leaving way too fast.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I'm at 62% at about 110 hours and I still dig it. I am bummed out that I didn't find out about the whole butterfly emblem before it was too late.

If you like *popular band*, you should listen to *less popular band*.

Marilyn Manson --> Christian Death. They don't sound alike, but Marilyn got his looks and androgyny from Rozz Williams.

    Nirvana's 'Nevermind'

The song the riff was 'borrowed' from was 'Eighties'. Kurt's version has it's major differences but the tuning is the same. Plus the chorus effect on Nevermind reminds me of the tone done by Killing Joke even though there's no gain on it. Fun fact: When Dave Grohl met Jaz Coleman he was...
