People relate to the human voice in terms of relating to music. When you take the human voice away you give the instruments the power to make a statement. What i love about instrumental music is it's almost like art. Each individual can have it's own interpretation of what the musicians are...
Progressive Deathmetal head, Music theory classes at Howard Paine University, straight A's in high school and managing my own million dollar store at the age of 22. :)
This is actually one of my favorite bands at the moment. I'm learning alot just by listening to what these guys do and how. I can't wait to put some of their influence into my style.
I wish there live presence was a little more intense, they are insanely technical but i remember there old album not having a very good flow. Still loved it, still respect the shit out of them. The new song is goodish.
On the Rg2228 it is impossible to back the fine tuners all the way out (honestly). And if i had a 28-30 inch scale neck i bet my guitar could hold a tuning such as E,B,E,A,D,G,B,E without any locking mechanism. But I imagine on my smaller scale Prestige that tuning would fluctuate. Hence why it...
The fine tuner on my rg2228 on the 3rd string is hard to turn, and i literally dont utilize the double locking tuners. I do tune up to A, and i imagine with a low F# on a 27 inch scale they'd need to be used. Personally I feel like the locking system on the rg2228 could be better.
Can someone please mock this up in white. I'm thinking about getting mine painted. I really think Ibanez was just giving us the middle finger by making these guitars sparkle.
Use guitar pro and set up a selection of notes utilizing all strings on your guitar. I have an 8 string so I use scales that cover every string. Allow it to repeat increasing the tempo 1 or 2 beat every time it repeats. Do it over and over and over doing different picking techniques. I...
So after two months of owning this thing I like it, but I don't love it. It's tuned up to A,E,A,D,G,B,E,A and with that tuning the 27 inch scale isn't a necessity by any means. I think the paint job on it is the closest thing to twilight on a guitar i'll ever see ever. I feel like I'm licking...
I'm not trying to judge a book by its cover, but I don't believe I would ever take a brand named Krappy seriously. What do you know about the quality of these?
I can totally post a vid here soon of the guitar and it's tuning. I really don't ever bend with it, I just use it for access to a higher note without stretching to like 8-12. The process is just allowing my guitar tech to mess with it, I have a fear of that string breaking and taking out...
My 8 string is the Rg2228 (27in) and I use a .08/.09 on the high A. I will let you know that on a 28 inch scale, I had alot of issues trying to get the high A with a .09 string. Since I don't use the low F sharp or anything close, it would of been smarter for me to order a smaller scale length...
I use AEADGBEA and i love it. Its as if i was playing a seven string in drop tuning while also having a high A string to do lead with. I wouldnt put my 8 in F sharp.
