When the airline lets me take a 50w Recto head on the plane to put in overhead luggage, then I'll go back to using real amps live.
Seriously though, if you're in a band that travels the last thing you want to have to deal with is moving heads and cabs. Been there done that, it's 2024, times...
I replaced it with a little bit of 3D printed plastic and wired the pickup straight to the output jack. Have also wired the Muramasa straight to the output jack,
Fuck volume knobs haha.
It's shit that something like this has happened however most manufacturers only offer a 12 month warranty anyway if that, so if this is 2 years on you're out of luck. Honestly looks like a result of the environment it was in more than anything else.
I'm the definition of an idiot because despite all of this, I'm still buying Time II
What a wild fucking ride to get to this point. Genuinely didn't think it would happen.

The releases this year so far in terms of specs/designs have been sick. However I'm personally done buying new instruments now. The prices on the 1000 series...
If they released a single hum RS with a banana headstock, they would just be printing money, and that's regardless of what tier they released them at. The money LTD RL-600s alone go for on the used market is actually insane let alone any Japanese made ESP.
As cool as all of this would be - I just want them to:
1- Produce guitars at sane price points regardless of country of origin. Still have expensive high end shit for those who have the money/want it however actually have product that mortals can afford.
2- Actually have stock of said guitars...
Muramasa was Asian market only as an E-II and I'm pretty sure even then there was only 1-2 runs max in Asia- I know one store in Europe (and even though I don't know which dealer exactly it was probably a certain legendary Finnish ESP dealer as they seem to be able to get anything and...
FMIC just need to fire whoever decides on guitars for production and just build what the artists are spec'ing. Every Fender/Jackson/Charvel artist has spec'd a CS of some description that would sell as opposed to the garbage lineups we keep getting.
