Parting with one or two of these killer 8 strings, snag one! USA

Love the Razer and the 8 string V (pure shock value).

    Like new Agile Septor 827

Trade for an Ashton acoustic and half of my bagel? Edit : I wish I did have something worthy of trade. I would like to try a Septor.

Tenayo Ziggy, new low cost tapguitar

That Sitar is rad! The only reason I can't have a 12 is the tuning I use doesn't work over 12 strings. You can really only use 5ths on a 8 or a 10 and I prefer a 10 because of the crossed config which an 8 doesn't have (and would be overkill anyway).

(classic ibby content) who else thinks...

They would make great 8 string shapes. I would even like a tapper with the first shape. I like that very much.

    Krappy Touchstyles

I know not many will agree, but one one hand I think it's subjective. Some folk need the bells and whistles. I'm content tho. I feel a little like a Seasick Steve of touchstyle guitars playing it, but it plays and sounds great which is what I bought it for. I gave up playing ultra expensive axes...

The Harpejji: Awesome Tapping piano/guitar instrument

I think the new harpejji is killer. Not sure I'd get one but I strongly approve.

    Krappy Touchstyles

You would be talking about my instrument, Dan. The 'functionality' is fine considering I play it in a band with no problems and I get more positive comments that not. I know it doesn't have three different kinds of interwoven wood or a speedometre or a pancake maker, but it's a lot more...

How low is just stupid low?

This is subjective. Luckily I am my own bass player and tune the lowest string on my 10 to a low low B. But I don't play metal or chug so it's purely there so In case I ever need.

    Any non-'djent' 8-stringers?

I had to go look up what 'djent' was. Lol. Back in the day we called it 'chugging'. Har.

Potential of horizontal tapguitars. New Kelstone video. New Warr project

I would like to try a Kelstone one day. And Trey is a huge advocate of this style of playing now. I had online lessons with him a while back and it sure does open up the range. Too much for me though. I still like playing guitar style.

Tenayo Ziggy, new low cost tapguitar

I was about to say it's pretty obvious that those are adjustable saddles. Siggy is a talented luthier and I doubt he would make a mistake like that. Having said that it wouldn't be a fun job. I would probably buy one if it were a 10 string. 12 is just too much for me.

    Post pics of your ERG

Yup, just the photos. That first photo was the finished photo I recieved from Kev right before he sent me the pic of the box at the airport. It's not a great photo though and it's fun because barely anyone has ever seen one over here and it plays great. Leftyjoe - Always a pleasure seeing...

And knowing Siggy it will be well designed. I'm trying to arrange a custom from Siggy as we speak.

    Post pics of your ERG

I saw Lefty Joe's Krappy and thought to myself - 'Better add mine to the mix'. They are very well made and are not made from junk. They are the chosen guitar of outlaws and pirates worldwide!!! Yeearrrgh!!!!!! Keep the pictures coming as I am very much enjoying all these ERG...

    Heya 7 stringers

Thought it was about time I joined up. I've been into extended range guitars for years starting with a Ibanez 7 ending up with a 10 string custom touch beastie (ex piano player so I kept tapping tapping tapping and figured 'to hell with it'). Looking forward to jammin' with ya'll.
