    Mesa Single Rectifier

The Single Rec is a really loud amp compared to most 50 watters I own, and I found it sounds pretty good through Marshall Greenback Cabinets. But it still has the Mesa Fizz to it, but I changed the tubes around and made it my Blues amp, cause it didn't have enough crunch for me to play my...

    Thinking of getting an ENGL

I like my Fireball, its easy to get an awesome sound with a minimal amount of tweaking. I never tried a powerball, though, so I don't know how they are. I just went straight to the SE.

    String Gauges

Ernie Ball Strings: 9's - E and Eb 11's - C# 7 - String: Where I live there is only one set, the "Seven String Set" that everybody carries, I think they're D'Addario XL's or something. I might try a set of 10's on my new Tele, the 9's feel too light.

    Back from seeing BLIND GUARDIAN!

I've never had a chance to see them, as they don't come through Canada too often... but I really would like to see them live!!!

    Starting with drums?

I occasionally use a drum machine to come up with riffs, but mostly write parts at home on guitar, then bring them to the band to help finish them. The thing I found about a real drummer is that sometimes I wrote a part with a certain rhythm in mind, but he comes up with parts that make the song...

Scored another, this time a cheapo Schecter!

I have an Omen-7, and I find it's one of the better 7's I've been able to play, in terms of the neck shape. But mostly I bought it cause I didn't know if I'd like 7 Strings and didn't want to waste too much money, but it was a pretty good purchase overall.

    Wanted: X2N-7 or Lundgren M-7

Looking to buy a Dimarzio X2N-7 or Lundgren M-7. I will ONLY pay by Money Order, unless you're Canadian I can pay by Email Money transfer. Money Orders usually take a week to get to anywhere in the US or Canada. I do live in Canada, and I know it's a pain to ship here, but I would like to...

    Holy Crap!(attention fellow Canucks)

I've bought stuff from axemusic quite a few times, there pretty much my favorite online music store. I bought my Uberkab from Robbie Brown's Guitar Town, they were very cooperative for me... By the way, Yngwie I see you're from Sturgeon Falls, I'm from Sudbury...:metal:

    Solo Boost

I use the solo boost on my Single Rec cause that's the amp I use the most for jamming. It really helps my leads cut through the mix without having to be loud all the time!!!

    WOw!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree 100%... I was thinking of replacing the speakers in my Recto cab too. Maybe I'll look into some c90's... Thanks for the info. The "Tube Screamer" is actually a Maxon OD-9 Overdrive, it sounds really good.

    WOw!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an Uberkab... I also have a 4x12 Mesa Recto cab, that I use with my single Rec and an Engl Fireball...Thats what made me love Engl's. I use my single rec alot for my rock band that I started earlier this year. I find the Uberkab's sound smoother than the Recto cab, it seems to have...

    WOw!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like the sound of my SE, but I also like the sound of my Cobra, too. The amount of experimentation possible with the SE is pretty much endless, but basically I set up a sound that ruled and play it that way. Here's a pic of my main rig, very fun at jam...:shred:
