    No danger. I run my setup like this ocassionally when I play through an american amp. In fact I sometimes have one or two pedals runnig off 120V and the others off 220V.

    I disagree. I was comparing them in terms of channels really. The fact that the se has classic mode switch and a noise gate doesn't put it light years ahead of the vh4, which stays quiet when you want it to. Both amps are the flagships of their manufacturers.

    Tried that, didn't like it. If you're doing it just for yourself and there's no sound guy, the UL tends to get buried by the VH4 in the same room, since most of the emphasis of its tone is in the lower mids, while the VH4 kinda has a more even and full response. They just didn't feel right...

    Diezels are on such a different level from ENGLs. I can't believe you're mentioning them in one sentence. Too bad you guys are getting ENGLs so expensive over there, makes them look like boutique amps, which they are certainly not. VH4 is an amazing amp.

    Our customers who had tried a lot of controllers ended up with the MFC-101 ultimately. Liquid Foot Jr. gets a second honorable mention, but those are very hard to come by. Those on a tighter budget stick with Voodoo Ground Control Pro.
