It's actually kind of the opposite, the screaming didn't ruin my voice nearly as much as clearing my throat. But i had to do that to scream heres how it went down ... you know when you wake up in the morning sometimes and your voice is hella deep and you think 'man i sound like barry white'...

some things you might try ... Ozone's mastering stereo widener, or one that can widen separate freq bands, what you want is to widen the highs, never, ever widen the bass freqs. This is not going to instantly make the mix huge but it does make a subbtle difference. and thats what the 'huge'...

pretty boring. its an awsome groove in the beginning but the song doesn't really go anywhere. vocals seem equally un enthusiastic it also sounds like there is a blanket over everything more highs on pretty much everything would help

Blankets. lots of thick blankets, hang em around the mic/singer. toooooons of people do this, it kills the room sound perfectly the last slipknot album was tracked with blankets as isolation
