Yes! I got the idea from a guy who was doing a paint job on a motorcycle gas tank. The possibilities are endless really. Like I said earlier the color under the image must really be bright or it will lose some details. It doesnt have to be fluo but the brighter the better in my experience.

The trick is to use a very bright vibrant color under the image to make it really pop.

Well the image is a waterslide decal that I printed. What I actually painted was the base color and the wing tips to blend the image.

I just got the 005 and holy shit indeed! It destroys any ampsims I've ever used. Not only it sounds great but it feels awesome to play. The way it reacts to the picking feels real. Also it doesn't need a boost in front, its very tight already.

Well a guy on youtube ordered a Jackson CS and the body and neck was the same finish. So I would guess they also use it for the neck. I found this picture, you can see the can of Good stuff and steel wool on the table.

I know Jackson custom shop uses a product called 'Good stuff' on there natural finishes. Its a satin finish brushed on.

Yes its the stuff guitar companies use. Its also called 2k clear , it comes in various sheens from matte to high gloss.

Automotive urethane clear goes on pretty much anything. Just spray it thick enough until you don't see the texture of the paint on the surface. 3 or for 4 coats should do it. Never heard of people using epoxy on guitars.
