I had some wilkinson non locking tuners on a Vintage brand guitar, whilst I fail at re-stringing without locking tuners I found the stability and smoothness very nice when In use, comparable to the winged locking tuners on my PRS.

Is the Gotoh wraparound a straight drop In using the PRS studs? I've always been put off stoptail customs due to the non adjustable tailpiece that came with them, the official adjustable tailpiece Is quite expensive IIRC and the more traditional Gotohs don't look as beefy.

Karnivool Tuning (B-F#-B-G-B-E) Is pretty unique, haven't heard of anyone else tuning that way. I have also seen D-A-D-A-B-E and C-G-C-G-A-D somewhere which Is Interesting.
