Sorry, should have said that the cheaper Korean version is the one no longer being made. Of course brands like Gotoh, Schaller, etc. will keep making trems of all kinds, I just meant that the 'more affordable' option that a lot of our customers liked is gone. I'm sure someone overseas will pick...
Dragonblade, They do make 7 string Floyd Specials, I'm waiting to find out how much they are and I'll let you know, they're available in all colors so you can PM me and let me know what color you're looking for.
Found out that the Floyd Specials will be the new stock bridge in guitars like ESP/LTD, Schecter, etc. The Licensed Floyd's are not going to be made anymore, we have some left but once they're gone we will not be able to get those anymore. Sounds like someone else needs to start manufacturing...
Hey folks, forum member Cygnus X1 did a comparison test with some PM Tubes we sent him. Not many people know about these tubes so it was great to see a real live test with these vs. other high-end tubes. Check it out! If anybody has any questions about these tubes feel free to PM (no pun...
Wanted to show this to everyone, forum member Cygnus X1 (I believe he posts here as well) over on mylespaul.com did a test when we sent him some PM Tubes (which we exclusively sell) to try. He's an amp builder and a tube fanatic. Very extensive test, very informative, he did a great job. Enjoy...
Thanks for the plug Max. We do have them, and very soon we will have a dedicated 7 string section where everything will be in one place to make it easier for everybody. I'll let everyone know when it's up! Guitar Bridges by GPDUSA.COM
We've outfitted our Series One 200 with Russian-made PM KT88's, brought out even more life to the amp and really increased the low-end. We have a stock model right next to that one too so it makes for a great A-B comparison. Check out the PM Tubes here: PM-KT88-PAIR - Power amp tubes by GPDUSA.COM
Agreed, but the Stage 100 gives a great Plexi-tone. Also has a more traditional look with a flat front like a Marshall. My personal fav as I'm a plexi guy. Dead on about the Series One's, they're perfect for metal!
