You build your sounds regardless of rig type at gig/practice volume. Doesn't matter if you are using a modeler in to the PA, a Recto half stack, or a Fender twin. +What everyone else has said.

Presence on ch3 set to modern runs as a high cut.

A graphic eq pedal set flat and a few db below unity gain when the pedal is on in the effects loop would do the job. When you turn it off, you have your solo boost. You could do the same with a clean boost type pedal as well.
