I have UX1 how much would buying another interface with high quality converters make a difference?? I also have a quality stand alone preamp. I always bypass the UX1 preamp with it. I'm thinking the preamp would perform better if I had nice converters? right?

I think my strings are to loose and I need a thicker gauge of strings. And if that is not it, i am not sure how will I make it sound cleaner.. Ill try tweaking it some more in the mix. thanks for the feedback

I think I heard he uses a pod once but his tone is way to good.. I dont think it could be a pod. I was thinking maybe he uses a pod to laydown the tracks and then reamps. He has like stacks of cabinets in his studio he must have them there for a reason? Does anyone know how he does it?
