All my friends and family are sleeping so I have nobody to play this to. Usually my friends don't care or they're afraid to say anything thinking I'll kill them or something. I've always had trouble figuring out how and where to spread my songs. I'm using MT drums, Trilian and FM8 for this one...
I won't go into the details, but my experience was very similar to Dave's. After about 80 emails between me and Marty I asked for my deposit back. This thread was about 20 pages since I last red it and even then there were talks of delays in delivering and responses, and that the guitars wreaked...
My Randall T2H has a line out in the back and I connected it straight into my computers Line In with a XLR cable. Yet I could not hear a thing? I did the same thing with the microphone input of my computer: this time I got some sound out, but had a awful lot of noise. My question is, is it...
I have the V30's in my Engl cab as well, it is sad to see Celestion manufacture speakers in China though. My Line6 got smoked the day I bought the T2H, so the timing was nice. I'm not really "a lot of bass" fan, I try to avoid the mushy mid bass that I usually experience with tube amplifiers...
I played the T2H different gain settings, gets tighter and a bit more articulate but the mushy feel still remains. Tried different noise gate and compression settings but the loss of gain doesn't work well with those, to get the sound I'm looking for. I think this is one of the problems too...
I've used mostly the Engl 2x12 PRO cab, also used it with the Line6. I'm no pro with amps and will definitely run the T2H tomorrow with less gain and post my results.
Bass was about 8 o'clock and gain at 3. I need an overdrive and a noise gate to get my sound from a tube amplifier? Just a bit depressed that I can't seem to enjoy them. My bass is always under 9 o'clock or just minimum.
I wanted to start a new topic for this and hope to finally find some answers. I'm sorry if my experiences insult your professional +100 years of experience but this is just what I feel and hear. Every time I play a tube amplifier, it feels like my playing is being choked. The bass is always...
Hello world, I guess this isn't really the right place, but I've made a lot of stuff with Superior Drummer: Jo.7 Couldn't be bothered to start a new topic for that.
Both a bit too light, as the fretboard should then be even lighter for the black inlays to show. I sure like Koa though. 1. Why not 2. Too bright, I don't want it to look like: I found this one Ziricote piece that ViK used in a custom Caprice S7, what are the chances in finding...
Please god let somebody help me choose: 1. Body top, dark (not too dark), something figured would do 2. Fretboard, light enough for the black inlays to be fairly visible I've thought about claro walnut, ebony macassar etc. for the top. Something dark with "natural figured timber" -look...
