Realize this is a bit of the thread rez but the blackmachine site no longer loads, so I'm not sure if that really signals the end of an era or not, lol.
i looked up the records that Glenn's produced and while i've heard a few of them and they sound pretty good! it's like a fraction of the albums I would want to see from a producer pulling such a spicy take and not just dismiss as it being like "well i do it this way"
Business is rough for a lot of people right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to get ahead of some sort of inevitable end to the brand. I don't know a whole lot of people who can just throw a cool 4-900 down on a guitar right now, let alone a microscopic brand like Agile
It's a huge bummer to see a band that only got better and better as they went up end this way, especially one that made such a huge impact. But if that's what they gotta do, it's what they gotta do. I don't like to psychoanalyze people I don't know, so all I can say is I hope they all end up in...
i always wondered if it was actually an issue for ibanez to get gotoh to produce those bridges with arm sockets on both sides or if they basically just switched a few things around on the line and went "ok no problem"
Since the fine tuners adjust the bars underneath the tailplate of the bridge where you would usually put something in place to hold a floyd level while you restring, it seems like it would be unwise to put something under there. Would it be okay to do so, or is holding the trem in place like...
i dont want to bring up an old point, but to be fair, as a producer, baldwin definitely has his share of responsibility for that completely preventable death, yeah.

Wasn't sure where else to put this, but do places like WMI or Fuji-Gen use what we're familiar with as end users for fret wire? (e.g. jescar, dunlop) or do they use their own producers?
don't think it's really a great idea for an experienced player, looks like a cheaply produced part. I think it's a good idea just for the sake of reducing any kind of mechanical failure for a new player's guitar
