I had a similar issue with the presonus usb, I was dealing with static noise and pops just like you. Part of my problem was that I couldn't set the buffer size any higher than what it was at, if you can adjust your buffer size it might help get rid of that static? But I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks man! yeah the bass is there its just kinda quite. Im still trying to make a bass tone on my pod that is really fat sounding. But thanks for the input ill probably go back and try raising the volume and messing with the eq on it a little more.
