It's such a pain. I've ordered some proper TRS cables to see if that does affect the crackling, only time will tell. I'll also try the unbalanced inputs too. I know it's not my interface as it worked fine with my old monitors

Thanks for the replies. I'm finding that my mixes sound great on most brands of speakers + my car and even my iPhone, but they sound pants through my ridiculously bass heavy Logitechs!

Yeah, I was thinking that, however they're not the greatest monitors in the world but i might try to see what it sounds like. edit: I think the reason i haven't tried that before is the lack of sub with my monitors, lacks any real balls..
