    N(pre)AD - ADA MP-1 3.666 mod

It doesn't really sound too much like a mid scoop, but after some tweak time, it sounds pretty solid. Especially with the Atomic it sounds enormous.

I haven't really had the chance to play it too much. The 5 minutes I did get on it sounded amazing! I'll have some time to sit down with it tomorrow.

    Telecaster for punk/Hardcore?

If you can get a Tele, literally even a MIM Fender would do just fine, if you can dress frets, and drop a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails (they make a tele bridge sized one) into it, it will sound HUGE. I have one, and I almost exclusively use it for Punk and Harcore (like Hot Water Music and the such)

    Anyone Understand This Price?

I remember reading about it. What Fender did was move the headstock back more (almost like angling it back, but it is still straight, but further back) to allow it to only have 1 string tree, to try and increase tuning stability.

I got a job selling overpriced boutique kitchenware to middle aged housewives

I mean, I did have a friend who did it. He was SUPER driven, to the point of it being unhuman. He made about $10,000 in a summer, but he was working 12 hours a day, every day.
