I could do it by enlarging the holes on the rings and using a skinny screwdriver if i wanted to keep them direct-mount with rings, but it would be pointless. It doesn't make a difference unless the pickups are microphonic.

i'm bulding a custom body (mahogany/quilt top)for my ESP M-100 to facilitate a humbucker in the bridge and mini humbuckers in the neck and middle positions.... too bad they didnt come that way. but i would say get a fat strat and put some white EMGs in it. extremely versatile
