hey guys..... im planning on buying my first sevenstring and an audio interface for recording and live use.... and ive got 2 sort of combinations, keeping in line with my budget of approx $1300.... 1) Ibanez RG827Z + Line6 UX2 POD Studio OR 2) Ibanez RG7321 + Line6 POD HD 400/500 which on do...

the neck dimension of the RG827 are the same as the S7420 according to the ibanez website...........so if anyone has prior experience playing the S7420....wont be a problem for them...... although im not too sure about the rounded frets on the RG827..

Both these guitars are amazing from what ive heard and they are within the price range i wanted........ so which one would u guys recommend.....and id also like to know the pros and cons of both.....

ive been thru this phase too....... but the key is to practice 3 string sweeps first.....and try getting each and every note on the sweep cleanly.... it helps more if u can write a small solo sort of piece using only the 3 string sweeps....and then play it over and over again gradually...

i checked the SLAT3-7....but here its too expensive......and the LTD H-1007FR will be arriving sometime in september... so my current options are RG1527,RG7320,Schecter damien 7fr or the RGA8

im considering the schecter strongly....but the only downside is that its damn heavy..... and another thought that came to me was....i play bass too...so would it be better to buy a 7 or buy an 8string guitar???? would that be a better option???

well......i found the schecter damien to be quite comfortable.... i didnt have any problems with the neck(as ive heard quite a lot about that) the only problem is that is a bit heavy... and since im looking for a floating trem, i want to take a look at he ibbys too btw...how do the...
