    Call of Duty: Black Ops

If anyone on PS3 wants to get on some zombies, hit me up: Demonbrn is my ID. I have acsension, and once my password is retrieved I'll have Call of the Dead too (my PS3 YLoDed and my password didn't work for some reason, and sony says it takes up to 14 days to retrieve). I'm not to bad, Kino...

    The Saddest Song Ever

Ohne Dich - Rammstein (reminds me of my grandfather) Even though it's a about a love hate relationship, the song just sounds sad and hits a nerve with me. Also Wings for Marie & 10,000 days by Tool, those lyricaly hit close to home with me. Wings for Marie...

Will adjustments need to be made when changing string size?

also, depending on the size jump, it may be necessary to change the nut. But if it's only a single gauge or two, spring tension (for tremelo) and possible truss tension are a must (there are many tutorials out there to determine if the truss needs adjusting, but my advice would be take it in to...

Recommend me some music dvds to buy

If you're not familiar with Cliff Burton, the original bassist from Metallica, "Cliff 'em All" is pretty inspireing and yet depressing. Rammstein (if you're into them) has a DVD out there called "Völkerball" That is pretty good too.

Anyone Else think Fender makes some good guitars?

You forgot Dave Murray and Adrian Smith!

    Great, straightforward, listenable metal albums

Have to throw some bumps out there; Metallica - Lightning and Puppets Tool - All (Aenima and undertow if you don't have any tool, those will start you out) Judas Priest - Sad Wings of Destiny Trivium - Shogun (they had some great song structure on this one in my opinion, and it didn't seem...

Anyone Else think Fender makes some good guitars?

I love my Fender, it still has a great sound after (10 years maybe less), and as mentioned, has great versatility. My only real beef with it is that the frets are REALLY high on it (which I guess gives it room for wear), but it doesn't buzz and is a beast!

    Local band rudeness?

I don't think they are serious when they are being cocky, but people take it as so.

Lack of motivation .. what to do?

Listen to music out of your genre while taking a break from playing. I generally go to classical music and opera... type. Couple suggestions that may inspire you Clint Mansell - Lux Aterna (look for "Requiem for a Tower" Version) Vitas Bumac - Opera #2 (keep in mind, that's a dude singing!)...

Your Top 5 Death Metal Bands

I'll probably be flammed for this, but I could never really get into Death Metal. The band that has been expanding this lately is.... DETHKLOK And I think it's because they write seriously as a sarcastic exaggeration (I mean Murmaider was epic for me, lol). "Your life is ended by...

Trivium - new song (In Waves)

I've always appreciated their lyrical content over their song structures. Two songs that always come to mind for me personally are "Throes of perdition" and "Shogun". Though I do like "Like light to flies" and "Fugue", It's hard for me to like songs where they keep repeating the same verse and...

    Local band rudeness?

In my experience, the guys that become douchebags are the ones that get a high following from a high concetrated circle of friends (where almost every show is mostly people they know, or linked to someone they know). I used to work with a guy that plays in a punk band here in the SF bay area...

    Weightlifting routine vs. desired outcome

I used to be a 'thinner' guy, I'm 5'11" and before I started working out I weighed 145. I put on a lot of muscle for football (got up to 190) to be a linebacker. The problem with putting on more muscle into a small frame is you end up having to work out much MUCH more in the long run. I started...

Hello From The SF Bay Area!

That is exactly my problem, since I only really know (I have to referance it now since I haven't touched it in a few months) is the pentatonic scale forms, and all I can really do with them is blues I also have a problem tying them together. I need to get a book and just devote time to running...

Sayings that makes you wanna :scream:

I just realized another that really erks me.... "FML". It irritates me to no end when someone makes a redundant complaint and ends it with "FML". Seriously, a vending machine eating your change is so horrible it justifies this generalization of how horrible your life is? Just kill yourself then...

Hello From The SF Bay Area!

What I listen to is mostly metal, but what I actually write varies. I've got a few songs that have up to 20 different parts with numerous tempo changes, and a few that are set beat and maybe 3-6 parts all together. I got some scratch tracks on myspace music. I put them up on there to make it...

    Favorite underappreciated/obscure games thread

I also forgot to mention "Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles" for Gamecube, this game was unfortunatly hindered by requireing you to have a Gameboy Advanced/SP to really enjoy the multiplayer. I was fortunate enough to have 3 spoiled sibblings that all had those handhelds, so me and a couple of...
