From what I can tell the Retribution was tweaked to be a bit more tame and clear. Almost like it's an X-series Blackouts. Standard BOs are indeed stupid hot and compressed.
That's a uh... pretty short video lol. I was expecting him to try other amps and pedals like he usually does, but nah just the 2 channels on the EVH and only 2 minutes of playing.
I love that Solar though. Looks fucing great.
I know it's a rhetorical question but so many right wing idiots fall for it because... well they're the exact same. They don't actually believe in absolute free speech, just the freedom to call black people the N word and etc.
Don't forget his ex ditching him for a trans woman.

Elon has legit gone out of his way to say cis is a slur while also weakening moderation against actual slurs and bigotry so I'm not shocked if that's real.
also lol at anyone that thought Elon would be a true free speech absolutist

Finally doing a 24-fret So Cal/San Dimas without Guthrie's name on it.
Also only $1700 which surprises me. Actually cheaper than the Concept...
Dr. Feelgood is a decent album but yeah, it's like they lost chemistry very early on.
I'm giving Exposed a listen and tbh Vince sounds better than he does in Crue. The overall tone of his voice sounds slightly deeper so he's not straining his voice as hard.
Maybe give the SH-5 or SH-16 a try. The SH-5 is the same wind as the CC but with a ceramic magnet which tightens up the lows and adds some aggression to the high mids.
The SH-16 is basically like a Custom 5 but with one bobbin underwound to add some clarity and tighten the low end. It also...
Self titled is Crue's best album by far. Actually great vocals, dynamic songwriting (heaviest shit they wrote on top of actually great ballads), Mick's tone is heavy as shit.
I've tried Morleys and I love the feel and travel of them, but could never find one that sounded right. The closest one I've found is the 20/20 Lead Wah but it's sweep is still a bit too bright for me.
Man I thought the Wylde was sweep was too wide (250hz - 2.4khz) but JFC the Trooch was is 100hz - 3khz. That's way too intense lol
Then again I like darker wahs with a narrower sweep like the Hendrix wah or the lower sweeps on the 535q
Peavey when they fully release the Vandenberg reissue in 2029
I'm not into the short-scale shredders like most, but I still think a 750XL reissue would be slick
