I love hearing Steve, along with James Brown and Dave Friedman, talk about amp history and amp design so this was pretty cool to see pop up.
EDIT: Lol at the story about the 6-band EQ. So many layers.
absolute shit news, like everyone my age I grew up with DBZ and also consider Chrono Trigger one of, if not, the greatest game ever made. fucking gutted

New MiJ series. Gotoh hardware, Rupert Neve pickups (didn't even know they DID pickups lol), compound radius fretboards with SS frets. $2200.
Remember those old Allparts ebanol nuts that they discontinued out of the blue? Looks like Graphtech is bringing them back.

$30. Also seems to only be exclusive to 6 strings at the moment.

Him and Killing Joke had a pretty damn big influence on a lot of '80s and '90s, and even later, rock and metal. Huge loss.

Not surprised since it never seemed to take off. It would have been a great idea if they could have figured out how to fix some flaws.
I think the true surprising...
Been curious about this one. I just got a Duncan 78 installed in my guitar and while I like the tight low end and aggressiveness, I feel the high end is just a bit too twangy. From what I've read thisll be a similar vibe; more aggressive hot rodded PAF type.
Just curious to see impressions...
Was browsing Reverb and I saw this.

If it's real, I'm hyped. Always loved the Swamp Ash Special.
Also thought it would be a good idea to do a general new-for-2024 thread for PRS guitars starting with this.
EDIT...

I know the El DIablo is considered a sleeper pickup, but is the Slug pickup actually good or is it just a gimmick? lol
