Bridge For A 30 Inch Baritone

IMHO,just don't use a string-through bridge , especially for a jackson style head, you will find the string is not long enought.

Anyone try a Titan 7 Bridge in a EBMM JP7 BFR?

Illuminator is a perfect dimarzio pickup to me . adds a lot of highs but still maintain the overall balance and it still sounds beautiful , and it's soooo tight. further more, its split coil sound is good , too.

What's the longest scale ERG you've played? Anyone play anything over 30"?

I have a 30" 6 string. a bass vi copy from jackson guitar company. I simply use EB 1256 B std tuning on it, which to me is very good. I like the voicing of a baritone guitar , more huge sounding, more tough, more defi nition, more unforgiving. That's really what a real metal guitar means.

Anybody noticed the baritone guitar's top end always a little bit harsh?

it's true. that shrinked the higher strings' scale length and the sound will be more forgiving. I'm focusing on the long scale's sound itself , that means I feel that lower strings still a bit harsh , a blend of good & bad things.

Tremolo block - Brass vs Titanium and why?

you'lll feel familiar with brass parts , that's classic choice for music. titanium , man , that's my holy grail , like a super transparent clean boost to your guitar, huge improvement to the vibration , with crystal & no harsh top end and a huge improved bottom end that steel will never...

    Ibanez J Custom lacking snap

I don't know exactly what do you mean "snap" here . which jp do you have ? I guess it's not the mahogany block ones. mayones actually is a swamp ash + maple neck thru kind of style sounding. I guess your jp is the basswood one . generally mahogany body guitar have slower attack , maybe that's...
