Question for Schecter Keith Merrow KM6 Owners...

Just purchased it :yesway: I loosened the nut holding the switch and just rotated it 180 degrees. We're in business now :hbang:

Question for Schecter Keith Merrow KM6 Owners...

After I typed that, I read it back to myself  Yes, I opened up the cavity and all wiring was clean as a whistle. I thought about just flipping the switch or resoldering but was just curious if it came stock like this?

Question for Schecter Keith Merrow KM6 Owners...

I recently tried out a KM-6 (awesome axe btw) but what threw me for a loop was the pickup switch which seemed to be wired in reverse... When it was in the "down" position (pointed toward the output jack,) it was in fact, the neck PU. In the "up" position pointing towards me/the body of...

Looking for a bass. Get a good one, or add pups?

First question... what's your budget? Right off the bat, I would STRONGLY recommend at least a 35" scale bass for the drop tunings you want to use. The SR505 is 34" and at Drop G, the strings will be an absolute floppy mess.

Darkglass Vintage DELUXE - Demo Inside

I think they're different enough to justify keeping both. That's just me though, I know I'm whacked.

Darkglass Vintage DELUXE - Demo Inside

This is voiced just like the regular microtubes vintage - that is, less aggressive and more "classic" sounding. It's fuller and warmer in the midrange and not as edgy/trebly on the top end. You can hear the differences between both of the demos I did for the vintage deluxe and B7K. They're...

    Cabinet Question (GK Head, Ampeg)

^^ I totally agree. My 4 Mesa cabinets are absolutely awesome and I'd only ever use 15's paired with 10's

    Cabinet Question (GK Head, Ampeg)

I always prefer 10's if I had to choose between them and 15's That should get rid of the farting, but definitely check it out first if you can. (preferably with your own head, bass, etc.)

Darkglass Vintage DELUXE - Demo Inside

The big brother to the regular Vintage Microtubes is here and damn does it sounds good. I ran through a bunch of my favorite settings. It's hard to decide which one I prefer... they sound amazing and different enough to justify both. Hope you enjoy :)

    Darkglass b7k settings help

I prefer to run it into the front of my amp (Mesa Carbine M9) but that will vary greatly depending on your amp. If you run it directly into the effects return, you're essentially bypassing the entire preamp section and sending your signal directly to the power amp. I like the additional warmth...

    Darkglass b7k settings help

In the OP's photo, the level is maxed.... are you running directly into a power amp or the front of something else? I tend to leave the blend around noon and gain fairly high. The EQ really changes a lot depending on what I'm pairing the pedal with. I run through a bunch of my favorite...

Rainger FX Dr Freakenstein Bass Fuzz

David Rainger's long awaited bass version of his regular DrFF-3 Freakenstein fuzz does NOT disappoint! This thing is a BEAST. I highly recommend it for adding monstrous-oscillating-chaotic-awesomeness :hbang:

NPD: Darkglass B7K - Demo Inside

I hadn't gotten around to giving this one a much deserved proper demo. My apologies. For all of you who asked me for it.... Enjoy! :) I'm curious for those of you that have/use this... do you prefer going into an amp or the DI? A combo of both?

    NPD! Darkglass content ;)

Darkglass ain't no joke - their stuff is seriously awesome.

I sure have, I much prefer it over the sansamp. The character of the distortion is crunchier and much more to my liking AND it has midrange control.

An indispensabile bass pedal for death metal!

Darkglass B3K or B7K is amazing for both studio and a live band setting. Here's a quick but good little demo with Alex Webster. :hbang: This should fit the bill exactly based on what you described ;)
