He was also rocking an Aftermath in a 7 before the Titans were released. I’m sure they had some influence in the Titans sound.
I’ve had all their pickup sets except for the Mirage. They’re all in the same ballpark. Some brighter than others. Someone said the Polymath doesn’t count but it’s...
I don’t have a footswitch for mine but it does make a decent pop when I move from channel to channel using the knob on the back. Mines a IVB.
I had a IV years back that did not pop using the footswitch so… 🤷🏽 it shouldn’t be that loud maybe have a tech check it out.
I had a Vypyr 30 for a while and for 199 it was great. Never had a chance to play the tube versions but I’m sure they were even better. Went from digital to tube and now reverting back to digital with the FM3.
Lol alright guys you all win. If anyone gets one of these and that board goes to crap no bitching. Back on topic, I’m still hyped for this guitar regardless of what’s under the hood.
You missed the entire part on resale value and adding things to a guitar that could fail that don’t need to be there. All but one of my guitars are modded so what’s your point ?
It’s not a terrible idea. A bypass switch would be the solution there, nothing more annoying than a guitar dying on you mid set. The older JP models needed a battery for the piezo but could still function if the battery died. I totally sound like I’m hating on ebmm and I’m not lol. You’d have to...
Toska albums are killer
Butcher the inside of a more than likely $3k+ guitar and tank its resale value? No thanks. Ebmm makes some of the best guitars out there for the money but the addition of boosts and buffers built in isn’t an upgrade. Literally had a spring in the battery compartment...
Congrats to him. Wonder if they’ll put his BKP’s in there as the stock pickup option. If the guitar requires a battery to function then hard pass regardless of specs. Hate to be negative but ebmm has been putting that buffer/boost in so many models that I rather play something else than have to...
I’d say you pretty much covered all bases lol. I love my invective. Got one the second they were released after namm. Always a fun amp to jam on and having two pedals powered by it is something I wish more amps had.
Got in the other day. 55 point sw check my rumpus is all I’m saying about that. Paid them to setup for Ab and elixirs. By far the worst setup I’ve ever received from any store. Back to this killer 7.
Like others have mentioned I would simply be repeating what you’ve read. This thing has some of...
Your demos are solid man. Appreciated by many I’m sure. I have no reference for the speakers or pickups you use but you manage to get something great out of most amps you’ve demo’d. Do you have a top 3 list of amps? And why?
