    I don’t have a footswitch for mine but it does make a decent pop when I move from channel to channel using the knob on the back. Mines a IVB. I had a IV years back that did not pop using the footswitch so… 🤷🏽 it shouldn’t be that loud maybe have a tech check it out.

    I had a Vypyr 30 for a while and for 199 it was great. Never had a chance to play the tube versions but I’m sure they were even better. Went from digital to tube and now reverting back to digital with the FM3.

    It’s not a terrible idea. A bypass switch would be the solution there, nothing more annoying than a guitar dying on you mid set.
