Sounds pretty cool! When I hear it I think of Divine Heresy/Slipknot type growls and a high scream leading into the chorus. Then the chorus could be a mix of clean and harsh vocals. The riff after the chorus could also be growls, but two bars(or 4?) of just the riff playing. And the ending...

To electricred: Favorite heavy/mellow songs as of now are: 'Life' from Ocean Machine(even though that's more so bouncy than heavy), 'Mountain' from Terria and 'The Greys' off of Ziltoid, if you want to give those a listen.
