    HNGD! I'm fairly certain that the neck pickup is not the Cold Sweat but rather the Warpig. Together with the Painkiller bridge pickup, this was Tomas' preferred pickup set. I also believe that the potentiometer knob was swapped from the Hipshot O-ring.

    I've been using EMG pickups for nearly 7 years now. Lately, I've been considering swapping the single-coil set on my custom Stratocaster to an EMG 85/SLV/SLV combination. Would it be a good idea to also incorporate SPC and EXG (for the SLVs) and Pi2 (for the 85)?

    Why are you happy right now?

    It's not even halfway through the year, and I've done a lot more than in the entire previous year. Feels good. Next week will be my last week at my current job and then I will take a break for a month or two. I feel very excited that guitar will be my hobby and not my job.

    @ChrisLA We don't use threaded inserts for the neck joint on bolt-on guitars and honestly, we didn't think about it. We use high quality stainless steel torx screws and no one complained about it.

    Try out the Tone Zone. Should work great with the guitars we build if you are looking for a warmer and punchier tone. The Air Norton in the neck position should complement it nicely.
