No one but I think that this forum's name has the potential to hurt someone else and I am doing my duty as a sensitive and compassionate citizen by letting everyone know. Better safe than sorry.
Following this election from the outside I have a crucial question, after seeing the health of both candidates. Who will star in the "Weekend at Bernie's : White house Wipeout" remake? Do the RNC and DNC not have someone below 70 to choose from or is it a prerequisite? They will probably drug...
I love the irony of the left leaning members (including a mod) of a forum called SS.org siding with the PC paranoia of Reverb... Can we rename this forum before we hurt someone's feelings?
Also, I do not remember the specific eagle shape used by the 3rd Reich. I recall that they used an eagle...
Since the Ironbird keeps getting mentioned, it says on this ad on Reverb that it was designed by Joey Rico. the other son of Bernie Sr. I do not know if this is true but see the bass he build for his own firm Unique Guitars. Anyone with experience on his brand? Apparently lasted from 2003-2010...
https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/09/ufc-254-official-poster-khabib-nurmagomedov-vs-justin-gaethje
Anyone looking forward to the unifying title match of Khabib vs Justin. His comments that there will not be a rematch with McGregor down the line are BS. Money talks and Dana will want a piece of...
Perhaps Dino should focus on Brujeria, it is an election year and FF seems to have a lot of negativity around it now. Losing a member playing an instrument is one thing, especially with a band known for simplistic yet catchy songs (played Soul Hacker on the 8 string the other day, not a bad one...
Knowing your Tekki kata is a prerequisite for joining Metallica.
As long as they do not do the annoying "stop the inlays at the 19th fret" thing I am ok with an extra one on the first fret.
My acrylic one stays still. Maybe it is my body structure and how I strap the guitar but none of my...
Kyle is hilarious, his bit on starting a punk band to stick it at Bush but being too middle class to make it work was hilarious.
-Screw you mom, we are taking the establishment down!
-You can practise in the basement and I will make cookies for the guys.
Carlin is an all time great, I...
Oh, I do not doubt Estrada's ability in building. His relation with Neal Moser and the pieces which he build so far seem solid. What I am worried is him getting in over his head and taking too many orders. Then again, the prices are crazy high in comparison with the past so logically there is...
Who in this forum loves stand up comedy? I cannot go a day without listening to someone performing. Post your own picks for a good laugh.
Let us start with Jim Breuer and his experience with Slayer fans "They looked like extras from Lord of the Rings! They came from under the ground tattooing...
Options and specs have improved drastically but I still prefer the time when you could get a good axe new for almost nothing and then fix all faults or mod while still not spending much.
You can still do so with a used decent guitar though. It just takes time.
I though that this was so cheesy that I had to post it, featured in the funny guitars thread in the past. Be the star of your local Photograph/Music club or the weirdo... Love that Quad bridge though...
I bought from Ebay Klein but always met with the buyer when I was in Germany. It has a worst reputation than regular ebay for scammers but has amazing deals.
I did not know that, sold a few times there and was lucky to do business with great people abroad. Reverb should burden the buyer with this, theoretically if people online were to attack a shop with a page there they could cause some damage like this.
To the OP, Reverb is pretty good and a...
One of the reasons I avoid those forums is their fanboy attitude. I do remember though that in the old BC Rich Players forum the Rico family was bashed hard for their business practises.
This make me worried about the BC Rich custom shop which is apparently run by Estrada (+electronics by...
