Try giving it some relief. If the neck actually follows the rod, you're gold, so just put the neck straight again and there's no problem. You'd think, though, that if there was enough pressure from the rod, it wouldn't move very easily.

Does it slide back and forth? That would mean that it's not anchored at the other end, and has probably been de-threaded completely, or stripped.

This one's a bit far-out, but you could recess a cavity, or completely put a hole in the guitar for a small powered fan that could have some ugly colored LED lights and keep your right hand sweat-less while playing... that'd be a job and a half, though. EDIT: If bowlers get to have a fan, why...

Really fun song. I love the lead tone. Rhythm needs a little bit of EQ adjustment, but that's already been touched on quite a few times! Nothing too serious, anyway. The master is a pretty good volume - definitely loud enough. Great composition. Good luck finding a vocalist.

Here is what it looks like so far... I bought 2 different colors for $10 on ebay, shipped. A little goes a long way, I still have over half a bottle of each color left. I'm going to do one more coat of blue, and then either tung oil or high gloss lacquer, not sure yet...

Definitely try the de-esser. Overhead seems pretty good. I don't have any great playback equip here, I'm not at home, but the mix sounds good even without that, so you know it can't be that bad! ;) The kick sort of seems like it might be missing something somewhere between the 80-120hz range...
