Ye i've had a look on a few sites such as gumtree(like to avoid eBay if possible) and there seems to be Plenty of choice, although Much less if the 1570 than the older ones. And I have a Jackson with A licensed floyd rose so any edge model should be a step up.

Cheers, i've got it narrowed down to the 81/85 combo, Dimarzio d activators or a D activator/liquifire combo, but i'm not buying till next pay day so still plenty of time to decide.

The RGD 7421 looks like its about the right price for what i'm after, and i'm probably better off without a tremolo

It seems most of the Rg 1527s i can find are about £750 which is probably a little out of my price range i think

Well i'd rather have a tremolo tbh, and from what i've heard the Tremolo on the Ibanez prestige series is very good (Zero edge or whatever it's called, cant remember off the top of my head)
