Yeah the BS-7 combines the best of both guitars IMO. I'll talk to my guitar store and see if I can get a deal on one of those because they are about 450$ more than both the Loomis and the AW-7.

Yeah, I thought it was strange when I first took the backplate of to adjust the springs when setting the guitar up for D standard and I found the ground wire there. I'll try rewiring it, and this time remove all the grounds from the stock electronics.
