Face-palm! Didn't even think 'til now that I have a 707tw not doing anything. I had it in the Damien in the neck for a while and it was a little too strong on the B string, but in the bridge of the ATX it might be worth a try, and not cost me anything :)

Still hesitant to order the P90's, so I'm going to keep messing with the Blackouts and see if I can get them to sound more to my liking, and might throw in the EMG 81-7 I have and try that too. Any comments on P90's, or getting the best out of Blackouts (for non-metal) appreciated :)

I installed one of the FloydUpgrades blocks on a Schecter with a Floyd Rose Special (which has zinc block and saddles). As far as I can tell it added a little bit of sustain and made it sound a little warmer and "bigger". It was not a dramatic difference, more a slight improvement IMHO.
