Personally I don't see how Steel Panther is different from radio bs. Guitars and distortion do not good music make, and the lyrical content is about as intellectual as cold pizza. Like a lot of hip hop.

I used to own an Agile Interceptor Pro 727 and really didn't like it. The neck was thick and the guitar was very heavy. I'd recommend Carvin. I've heard great things about the necks on their 8-strings.

I've recently decided to go back to Classical Music, as this is something I've ignored for about the last 6 years on guitar. I'm wondering what pieces you guys could recommend that would be good starting points for getting into playing Classical Guitar? Thanks a lot.

Devin Townsend is a perfect example of this. The majority of his work is simple, yet it astounds me in every way.

I would challenge anyone who says they can blindly say "Yeah I can HEAR the maple cap on that guitar, sounds so much smoother!" But that's just me.

I'm thinking if Carvin offered more versions of their 7 strings, they would have the best variety of any major company? I, for one have wanted a 7 string Ultra V for a couple years now, but a CT7 would be tempting as hell, as I love the sexy contours of a Carved Top.
