FWIW, if I were after tight metal tones on a budget, I'd be looking at a used PodXT with the metal pack (Big bottom and Criminal models) and some kind of FRFR like a powered wedge or PA speaker. I'm glad I profiled my old PodXT presets with my Kemper before it died on me. I'll buy another one...

I've been seriously considering picking up an RGA8 and putting in some BKPs. Although unless I can find a good used one fairly cheap I'd be spending nearly as much as a RAN Crusher 8, which I can spec with BKPs as a no-cost option. So I might just do that instead. :cool:
