    12AX7 preamp question..

I'm running an ART Tube MP Studio straight from guitar into a Randall RG 80 SC head with my pedals in the effects loop. I'm using the mic pre just to warm things up & get some more gain. Just wondering, is it o.k. to switch out the 12AX7 for a Jet City Retrovalve Red High Gain analog tube or...

Recto or Mark for recording & general mayhem ?

Just wondering .....Recto or Mark Series for recording (Reaper, Automap 3.0, SM57, etc..)? I'll be going through a Rivera Rockcrusher & BBE Sonic Maximizer. I love that Recto sound, but have never played through a Mark IV or V. I'm going for that "my head just got rodgered by an anvil" sound -...

    Tascam DP-03 stuff

Has anyone used one of these and what was the outcome? Just wondering. I used to have one of the ol' 4 track cassette Fostex things. So instead of buying a computer strictly for recording, should I just get a multitrack?

    Rivera Rockcrusher question

Just wondering if the Triple Rec., being 150 watts would be a problem with the Rockcrusher, being 120 watt capacity, that's all. I just want to make sure I don't melt stuff. Don't know if it would be too much of a load or not....This would be for jamming @ my house and also recording

    Rivera Rockcrusher question

Can a Rockcrusher handle a Triple Rectifier with it's 150 watts? I guess the Rivera has a 120 w. capacity, & I need to push the head as much as possible (recording). Or should I just go with a Dual Rectifier & be done with it? Thanx !:metal:
