    Thanks guys! I have played in drop G on this guitar with 010-059 for a few days now and actually I almost feel like I can get used to this, but I might try a thicker 7th string on next string change. Or maybe tune up the whole guitar by 1/2 step to drop Ab.

    oh YES! I have never played one of these, but I was close to buying one a few years ago when a dealer had one left in stock and sod it for a good price. for some reason I didn't buy it. I do regret that now. Those are among the best looking RG7s I have ever seen.

    I'm a big fan of RG7s and JP7s. On the RGs the only thing that bothers me a bit is the volume pot that's getting in the way of my right hand, but it's an easy mod to remove the tone pot and move the volume there.
