I tried looking up the serial numbers on the net, didn't have any luck at all. Here's the first one..it's a black ESP explorer, it says "ESP Custom" on the headstock & "ESP Custom Guitars" & "made in japan" at the back.Don't have any idea what the pickups are, it says esp on the pup covers...

The pickups have been replaced with seymour duncans, forgot the model. Zimbloth has a point, though, it does seem like a step down from the Carvin..

I also have the 007 elite, the cherry version..fast neck, good pups! I can get some amazing clean tones via the push/pull knob.. only gripe is the lower horn, it's somewhat in the way when soloing in the upper register of the fretboard. But, other than that, a really good guitar for it's price...

Well...last time I played a 7 string was way back in 1995, couldn't remember the model/make...is there that big a difference between the Ibanez's & Schecter necks? I'm into shred/technical music, so the more playable a guitar is, the better. :fawk:

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Schecter 007 Elite.Problem is, I'm ordering through musician's friend, and I have no way of getting my hands on one to try out..I currently own a Ibanez Jem 555 and the thin neck is just right for me, I was wondering how the neck would compare to the Schecter 007...
