Anyone have experience with the 4 and 5 strings being the same gauge? I get the skinny top, heavy bottom idea and it's awesome. But two identical string gauges? I know about Circle K, they are great. Just wondering about the idea behind this particular set.

Yeah my last trip out we were 3 men to a box, that was rough. Stayed in a 20 man Alaska tent on the way in for about a month WITH NO DIVIDERS. I had to tape up some 550 cord and hang some spare blankets to block out the light. Lucked out this time, though! SYLRules - I feel the same way...

Yeah, I'm a reservist. I had the RG8 shipped out here after I arrived. The trick is going to be finding free time to play and record some licks.
