    Doesn't matter about the angle when it's blocked :yesway: Just whatever feels comfortable for ur picking hand e/ like the others said, in terms of feel ans setup, try to get it parallel but it doesn't need to be exact since there's no springs.

    i'd go with at least a 26.5" scale. Doesn't feel that different from 25.5 in terms on playability, but you can definitely feel the added tension. Even 27" would be good.

    The neck will be fine. Just reset action/intonation after the restring but you may need to adjust to truss rod though.
